The Thomas Traceable Memory Monitoring Plus thermometer is used for measuring temperature in freezers, refrigerators, incubators, water baths, and heating blocks. The thermometer measures temperature from -50 to 70 degrees C (-58 to 158 degrees F), with an accuracy of + or - 1 degree C. The 0.75" long bottle probe insulates the sensor from temperature changes from opening doors. The probe has a 10-ft. micro cable that is thin enough to be closed in a freezer door without compromising the door seal. The thermometer has a minimum/maximum temperature memory and a user-programmable temperature alarm. Visible and audible alarms indicate when the temperature has risen or fallen outside of set limits, and the alarm continues to go off until reset by the user, even if the temperature returns to an acceptable level. The thermometer is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology standards, indicating that it is calibrated to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025 levels.
